I think there may be something to this if all this started after he passed. No one can tell another how they should grieve. Maybe this is going into Miles' decision to suspend, not dismiss him.

Of course, if this started before his father died, then all bets are off.

I think because of who it is... and the perception by the media and fans... Miles may have been a little to trigger happy with the suspension, depending on the facts... we will see. I just can't damn a kid for making mistakes like a lot of other kids.

    Bottom line is this.
We can't trust him to stay away from trouble.
If you can't stay away from trouble, you can't be a team leader.
If you can't be a team leader, you sure can't be the quarterback.

I don't care what his "potential" is. You can't depend on him.

Seriously, what if he pulled this crap on the eve of the next NC game?
And how fair is it to the guys who show up every day and keep their nose clean?

He's like the rich guy down the street who beats his wife and everybody knows he beats his wife but he's never been convicted. Then when he kills the b*tch every is shocked and surprised cuz he's a rich and important guy. And the neighbors all say, "Wow, he killed the b*tch. I can't believe it."
    Tiger fans next Janurary:
"Wow, he got arrested for (pick one) gambling, counterfeiting, fighting, blah blah blah, ..... right before the NCS championship game. I can't believe it:"
    :angryfire:angryfire:angryfire

Disclaimer: My neighbors are actually very nice and to my knowledge no one is getting beaten. I'm pretty sure. Fairly sure.

Because he is RP. Why would ANY business including those in power want to cut their own throat by hurting the money generator in the area.

If you would have tried to get on the boat what do you think would have happened to you?

Well Miles was pretty clear in the Media last year that RP was on a tighter leash (due to other incidents) than most others. RP seems to be the only one who didn't get that memo.

    Ahh, LET'S NOT!

This could well be a minor infraction. Keep in mind RP is now a media target.......if he sneezes the wrong way , it makes headlines.

Fights in bar rooms??? Who hasn't had one? It happens all the time. 40 years ago when men were real men a bar room fight would never make headline news.......and the fans would want to know that their man won.
Todays age of bureaucratic BS, liberalism and a massive population easily swayed by the media open doors for scrutiny.....and ratings.

I would hope Les Miles does not want to lose his star quarterback..........and a star quarterback he is.
This quarterback has true potential of not just breaking every record ever set by any other quarterback in LSU history.......but completely shattering and obliterating the records.
I also think Les Miles is the premiere coach to get RP and the team where it wants to be.

I hope Ryan Perrilloux reads this.

There is no "I" in team and you are not the only man on the team. That is NOT how you guys won a national championship this past year.

You have 2 years left with LSU and an opportunity of a lifetime, young man.
Can you not act accordingly, be a TEAM PLAYER for 2 years?
You have the rest of your life to count your millions, if you can.

I do not in any way support Ryans dismissal from the LSU program.
He is a young man...and young men make mistakes along the road of life.
Unfortunately he has to realize that his mistakes, at this point, effect the rest of a " damn fine" football team.

Me.... And probably about 99% of the nation.

It is in no way normal behavior... Even more so if there was no alcohol involved, which is probably the case.
