Your premise is unsound, the Russians have built a massive program designed to destabilize the elections of democracies and republics around the world, you'd know this if you were open to seeing the big picture... but you say nothing happened. This isn't about the dirt they dug up on Hillary, fuck her if she's guilty, but her dirt is a separate issue. You guys can't seem to disconnect the two. The real issue is about Russian interference in our election, which did happen, undeniably, it is an accepted fact to all the agencies who are looking into this crime,.. and yes it's a crime. It's against the law for a foreigner to involve themselves in our election, and any American who played along is guilty too. Hillary and her team, Trump and his team, whomever,.. the moment they even suspected foreign interference, that's when the FBI should have been notified. Trump claimed to be different, but now he says, "I think from a practical standpoint most people would have taken that meeting,",.. except it's a felony Donald. Clean it up, this kind of shit has to stop.
agree with this. the issue is the degree of meddling and the perception based on whether you lean left or right.
The Bizarre Hacking Scandal That Democrats And The Press Are Happy To Ignore http://www.investors.com/politics/e...-democrats-and-the-press-are-happy-to-ignore/
Graham: Firing Mueller would be 'beginning of the end' of Trump's Presidency ... Proposed Law will Prevent Trump From Firing Mueller ... Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on "America's Newsroom" he'll seek legislation that would prevent President Trump from firing special counsel Robert Mueller. "I'm going to create a statute that would say any time a special counsel is impaneled to investigate the president or their team, a dismissal has to be reviewed by the courts," said Graham, adding this system was used in the 1990s as a check and balance .
You are missing the point. With or without the hacking of e-mails, Clinton was toast thanks to her e-mail server and her inability to give a speech that didn't make one cringe. She was a terrible candidate. No one in their right mind can, at this point, dispute this. The information in the hacked e-mails got out and no one can put that back in the bag at this point so the damage is done. That being said, the fact that the Russians are responsible for it is a problem. That the Russians were able to have their finger on the scale of our elections is not okay and has to be investigated fully and addressed. While I believe otherwise, it may turn out that there was no collusion at all, just the Russians being their typical selves. Either way, we need to know and we need to respond accordingly. It wouldn't have mattered. Sanders made a critical error from the outset of the campaign that dooms his candidacy long before it had a chance by not courting Super Delegates. Super Delegates have been a part of the democratic party nominating process for as long as I can remember and Bernie never courted them until he was asking them to change their minds. This was a critical error on his part. I am not saying that Brazille giving debate questions was right; it wasn't, but it wasn't the impetus for giving Clinton the win.
If you don't understand why meddling in our elections is wrong and has to be stopped at all costs then you don't understand the most fundamental levels of democracy and the rule of law. I get tired of this argument that, "well, we do it too....." Since when did you start being an apologist for the USA? Didn't you ridicule Obama for supposedly doing the same? Yes, and that has absolutely nothing to do with Russian meddling but thanks for toeing the line for Trump. Personal responsibility is indeed a cornerstone of our democracy. So is the sanctity of our elections. It works both ways and you are ignoring one of them altogether. Clinton has paid for her lies by losing the election. That is old news. It doesn't justify the hacking and meddling. You like to act as though you are a voice of reason and that you do not pledge allegiance to any party but you are a shill for Donald Trump and it is patently obvious. Pretending that a foreign entity hacking our elections is okay because it favored your person is ignorant. What if it's the other way around next time?
