What law governs an NDA in which private money was used?

Not talking about any NDA.....it was the payoffs to Stormy and the other girlfriend. Conspiracy to evade tax and campaign finance. Cohen already plead guilty and there is an unnamed party to it. If that’s DJT it’s a felony. As ALREADY noted most legal scholars believe a sitting president CANNOT be indicted so don’t expect Mueller to do so. However if he says DJT was Cohen’s conspirator then that could be grounds for impeachment. I don’t like that or the idea he could get indicted when he leaves office.
As many have said there are more crooks and shady shit going on by HRC and the entire democrat party hanging Trump out to dry for that is wrong. I’ve been consistent that the probe is about conspiracy with the Russians and that should be the only impeachable offense.

I saw Alan Dershowitz on the tv earlier and he said the opposite. As did the former head of the FEC. Cohen paid the money and was reimbursed by Trump. Personal funds can be used lawfully. He can also contribute to his own campaign and its still lawful. And Cohen probably was told to sign the statement so he could get reduced time as they are trying to get to Trump. If you were facing the jailtime he was, you would sign whatever to get it reduced. Also, why didn't he just name Trump as the unnamed party? My theory is he was coerced to sign that part of the deal and he stood his ground.

We’ll see. I’m no lawyer. I’ve also heard former prosecutors and other attorneys say that the initial payment is illegal and Trump’s repayment doesn’t unring the crime bell.
Prosecutors use pressure such as that to get confessions and testimony all the time. Is it any different using that tool to convict a murderer or the president?

If I have sex with skank #1 and pay someone to pay skank #1 to keep her mouth shut. Assuming I used my money where is the crime?

Unless it is a couple weeks before an election, and unless you are doing so to influence an election, there would be no crime.

Now the fact that he bedded her to begin with that was epically stupid.
