If they met with someone and realized there was nothing to it and didn't want to be involved and left the meeting, is that collusion? One meeting that didn't produce anything would never stand up in court
Geez, Kaka, don’t make me stop all give and take. For the third time, the Dems went in to this with the intent of paying for information they thought were misdeeds, and usable against Trump. They paid for info on misdeeds. What they got, I’m not so sure. As I have told you already, I don’t know the contents of the dossier. I don’t think I’d be so quick to label them as lies, however.
All I have ever heard is that the whole thing was fabricated to start an investigation on Trump just in case he won. Where is one shred of evidence that the golden shower event happened?
This has been a recent Republican talking point but it is baseless. All campaigns pay agencies or private investigators to do opposition research on their opponents. What the Clinton campaign did was in line with what campaigns have traditionally done with regards to oppo research. In fact, and as you alluded to, the dossier was originally funded by Never Trumpers during the Republican primaries and was handed off to the Clinton campaign in the Spring of 2016. This was garden variety oppo research. That the facts of said research turned out to be salacious are reflective of the subject of said research, not the person conducting it. What the Trump campaign has been accused of and what Mueller is investigating are whether they conspired with a hostile foreign government to influence the outcome of a US election and especially whether they aided and abetted the Russians (the hack, theft and dissemination of DNC, Podesta emails) in a crime. Further, the Steele dossier is only one piece of evidence that led the FBI to open their investigation. Trump and the Republicans would like everyone to think that the Steele dossier is the lone gunman here but George Papadopoulus is sitting in jail right now because he lied to the FBI about one of the incidents that the FBI used as justification to open a case.
using sources in Russia is a whole lot different from actually colluding or conspiring with the Russian government.
You knows its bad when @LaSalleAve can be objective with us and you refuse to. I mean, if you can't even see what we are talking about and have to spin this topic, which oddly enough, we all have seemed to agree on but YOU, then you should look in a mirror bro.
Can you link me to the Trump tower meeting with the Russian government? Does any Russian = the Russian government? If so, why dont we deport all Russians?
