So today Trump tweeted that the meeting with Don Jr and the Russians in Trump tower was intended to get dirt on HRC. Isn’t that collusion? More importantly isn’t that conspiring with a foreign power?
I don’t know about collusion, but it opens up yet another lie. As each lie is exposed, each remaining denial becomes harder to believe. His alternate facts scam appears to be working with 30 - 35% of the people, but he is surely losing/has lost more and more each day. Again, if the Dems weren’t so pitiful, we’d be expecting double digit super majorities post 2018 elections.
Oh yeah. I’m not a lawyer so the nuances of conspiracy with a foreign power escape me,but this is what I don’t get. How is what Trump did, to try to get dirt on Hillary different that what DNC did to get dirt on Trump? Talking bottom line difference. And yes I know fellow Republicans got that ball rolling.

Getting opposition research is part of any campaign. It’s getting it from a foreign power that’s the problem. I believe there are specific laws against it. Maybe someone versed in law can clarify. As to Clinton’s effort with Steele I see no difference and she should be hung as well.
US Law prohibits anyone who is running a campaign from accepting anything of value from a foreign power. Now, is information something of value? I would say yes. But I’m pretty sure lawyers will have fun telling us why it’s not. What I’m wondering is this. Is Trump paying for his legal team out of his own pocket or are we paying for it. That being said someone really needs to tell Donald to shut the fuck up. The more he talks the more he sinks himself deeper. Now do I think he will be impeached or he will be charged with a crime? No I don’t and quite honestly, I’m ok with that because Mike Pence would be absolutely terrible. When I look at Trump, and his life and everything it makes sense. Rich douchebag playboy thinks way too highly of himself, he is essentially the same person he was 40 years ago just a little oranger and a little more heavy set than he used to be but most of us are the latter. I mean you put a kid in the environment Trump grew up in and I bet you get essentially the same person (just nuanced) half of the time. Mike Pence, there is no explanation for this man.
