I’ve been away from the Washington/Intel world for a long time now, a damn long time. Maybe there have been MONUMENTAL cultural shifts, I don’t know. But “deep state” makes me smile, actually guffaw! All these Intel agencies are in intense competition for resources. Service Intel (army, navy, air force) used to routinely shit all over DIA’s assessments. DIA took issue with CIA, and vice versa. Yet another reason the Director of National Intelligence was established to replace the Director of Central Intelligence who was put in place to make everyone play nice. When the analysis agrees, you get a good, consistent consensus. When it does not, they go at each other like savages. The concept of deep state, where all these agencies are secretly working together, is a joke.
Its not a hard concept at all. Many examples in everyday site. I mean what is lobbying for if not a small version of this? ISIS is an ideology, for an example, that needs no leader. There are sophisticated groups and more advanced groups operating in their own interest. Its no secrete that when both political parties hate you, you are on to something. Money is thought to be the most influential power of our time. How do hold you power over a billionaire? Its narrows a bit.
These same agencies that fundamentally ignored COMSEC? These same agencies that spy on US citizens? I have deep roots in Intel folks and even at the basic state level they employ the use of covert and morally bankrupt tactics to catch individuals. Local law enforcement is allowed to use CP to catch Pedo's. This is just at the local state level. What systems do you think we use at the federal and global level?????
Oh, so there is more than one Deep State? How many are there? And how were they organized? Also, how do the separate cells communicate with each other so they can coordinate their actions?

You've still yet to explain to me who the Deep State is. You keep throwing out someone's else words to give a blanket description of something that you claim exists but you've still not offered any proof of it. I'd like some proof. You are making the claim that a shadow element of government, made up of mostly career government employees, is and has conspired to keep Trump out of office. But you have no evidence of this and, second, if their goal was to keep him out of office they obviously did a poor job of it. Who are these ineffective people?
