Some of you guys are out of touch with reality. There is a trade surplus because there is a demand for goods based on price and quality. I just as soon wear a shirt made in Pakistan rather than North Carolina if it is same quality and less expensive. The winners here are the people, the losers, business owners. But, Trump never tires of telling us how “beautiful” our economy is. Guys, it just can’t work both ways. The way to win the trade war is making better things and selling them cheaper than can be imported.

I recently ordered some polo shirts online. Some of them were made in Indonesia and some in Vietnam. The ones from Indonesia are pretty good quality but the Vietnamese shirts are made with a thinner material and shrank when I washed them. I have a Fender Squier knockoff of a Stratocaster made in Indonesia. It is pretty decent and I liked it until I bought a real strat. It was made in Mexico and the difference is like comparing a BMW to a Ford Pinto. They say the Fender Guitars made in the USA are even better but it just hoes to show you, you get what you pay for. Are any clothes at all still American made?
