This is unconscionable and unforgivable that president Trump can say this. It brings much more clearly into focus the questions about his debt to Putin and Russia. What does Putin have on him and is he an asset of Russian intelligence?

    They are a foe.

They would have us invaded by the same Muslim force that invades them.

"The most valuable trade between the two markets is in machinery and transportation equipment, followed by chemicals, according to the European Commission.

The United States has a trade deficit of $101 billion with Europe, according to US data.

EU data paint a similar picture of the relationship. The bloc estimated its trade surplus with the United States was roughly €110 billion ($130 billion) in 2016."

He isn't wrong. The EU is the prime beneficiary of current trade policies. Why the hell shouldn't Trump set up a more favorable situation? That's how business gets done.

Brilliant reply Moe. So do you see the EU as a foe and Russia as a friend? Is Putin just fine? Do you think your president saying these things is good for the country? What is your definition of what is good for the country in foreign relations?
Actually this isn’t only a question for meaux....all of you trumpsters how can you stand by these statements?

After all that has happened the past week and you think it’s all about trade and trade alone? Whether trade is balanced or not you don’t go correcting it by acting as he has. You don’t wreck a relationship that has been the foundation for prosperity and peace for 70 years the way he has.
Try acting as he has in your next negotiation and tell me how it works for you.
