Everywhere,.. can't say specifically, Eugene's nick name is the Emerald City,.. so there are emerald this and emerald that's, all over the southern Willamette Valley. There are other places you can't help but love. First thing I'd recommend for you is a marijuana tasting tour, or a stop in a bud shop, both are plentiful.

My all-time favorite drive is the McKenzie River Highway from Eugene, up and over the Cascade Mountain Range's McKenzie pass, then north to the town of Hood River, and down the Columbia River Gorge to Portland. McKenzie River Highway has a lot of amazing basalt flows, and beautiful whitewater cascades, and the lush green you described is everywhere,.. it is magnificent,.. it's an old twisty turny highway though, and they don't keep it open after the October snows, it usually reopens sometime in June.

or, Drive from Eugene to Florence and the Oregon beaches, crashing waves, beautiful scenery, really gorgeous,.. but usually chilly,.. (Oregon beach volleyball,.. hit the ball, then watch the wind blow it way down the beach),.. mosey North up the coast to Newport, eating at Mo's is a must, local hangout, great all you can eat seafood layout,.. then East and up the Columbia River Gorge. Staying at or having dinner at, Mt. Hood's Timberline Lodge is special

Just don't miss seeing the Columbia River Gorge

Keep in touch, if you want to discuss this more, lets go to my Emerald Green thread in the Tiger's Den

@Winston1 The only problem with your theory about them keeping silent is that they were on (or could have gone beyond) the edge of legality of investigating the opposing campaign. IF there was a nefarious intent behind the surveillance, they would not want anyone to know. Time will tell what the motives were

This. HRC expected to win these states because they have always voted Democrat and she took it for granted that they would do it for her. Trump worked thise states and she ignored them. Did the Comey thing affect it, Possibly a small amount but when Trump goes to those states and tells them he is going to save their jobs and she doesn't, THAT was the difference maker

Why do people ignore the fact that Russia worked both sides to create chaos in the election?
