really good opinion article by Jonathan Turley in the hill.com today. pretty long piece but well done
Robert Mueller is a lifelong Republican who was appointed by a life long Republican in Rod Rosenstein who was hired by life long Republican AG Jeff Sessions who was appointed by Trump. The FBI nor the Justice Department, from which the majority of Mueller's team were assembled, do not have a political litmus test for their employees, only that they are qualified. Each member of Mueller's team is decorated in their respective field of expertise and have been researched by judicial advocacy groups whose job it is to ensure that the investigators are impartial. But you don't want to hear any of this. You don't care about any of this. All you care about is what Trump tells you to care about. Mueller is there to investigate Trump, his campaign staff and whether they broke laws with regards to their obvious coziness to the Russians and, apparently, other countries as well. It is also in the purview of his power to investigate anything else that arises during the course of his investigation. These guidelines were set forth by life long Republican Rod Rosenstein who was appointed by life long Republican AG Jeff Sessions who was appointed by Trump. These are not new guidelines, they were the same for Ken Starr when he investigated Clinton. You're just a paranoid old fool who lacks intellect enough to question anything Trump tells you to believe. No, you are an ass hole. A mentally ill ass hole who lacks the intellect to question anything your five-time draft dodging rapist tells you.
and what about Trump's service record? Oh yeah, that's right....he doesn't have one because he dodged the draft five times. But I guess you have an excuse for that too, huh? Was it Obama's fault or Hillary's? Go ahead and flip your coin so you can answer.
Yeah Trump should have served like Bill, Obama, Hillary and Bernie did. Oh shit they didn't. Weak very weak try something else Sgt Grasping.
Trump's undeniably a draft dodger,.. see how you run and hide behind the democrats,.. whenever the facts are against your hero.
A history of Trump's "fake news" about the Russia Investigation: 1 - Obama had his "wires tapped" in Trump Tower before the election - this started with a barrage of tweets in March of 2017. The DOJ denied the allegations and court filings support the fact that there was never any wire taps on Trump Tower. To date Trump has never produced an ounce of evidence to the contrary. This didn't stop the conservative media from twisting themselves into knots to try and prove Trump's claim. This effort culminated in Devin Nunes getting caught coordinating his message with the WH that there were "surveillance activities used against the President and his associates." Nunes promised evidence of this but to date has provided nothing. Nothing. 2 - Unmasking - after it was discovered that members of the Trump campaign were caught communicating with Russian officials during the campaign, Devin Nunes made the allegation that members of the Obama administration had improperly unmasked the identities of the Trump Campaign members. Once again the conservative media carried the water of Trump and Nunes and insisted that this was evidence that the Obama administration tried to undermine Trump's campaign. Nunes went so far as to accuse former NSA director Susan Rice of carrying out the unmasking. Rice defended herself and said that she had done nothing improper. Members of both parties looked at the available evidence and found that Rice had followed all proper protocol during the unmasking process. 3 - The Secret Society - this one was pushed by Trey Gowdy and another Republican congressman from Texas. After it was revealed that two members of the FBI investigation into Russian meddling had exchanged a series of texts that appeared to insinuate a "secret society" of law enforcement agents who were anti-Trump. The conservative media insisted that this was evidence of a "Deep State" and corruption at the highest levels of the FBI. As it turns out it was nothing more than an inside jokes between two agents who were having a secret extra-marital affair. One of the agents had already left the agency by the time of the text reporting and the other was fired by Mueller immediately after learning of it. 4 - FISA memo - Sean Hannity called this one "Watergate times a thousand." Nunes and many other republicans claimed that this memo he would release would show wide spread abuse by the intelligence agencies while conducting their investigation of the Trump campaign. Nunes would later release his memo to a colossal thud because it contained absolutely nothing to evidence their claims. Once again, the conservative media stood on their nutty heads acting like this would be the one thing that slammed the door shut on the investigation. To date, not a lick of evidence to support any of this. 5 - Spygate - Trump tried to claim that a "spy" was planted in his campaign for political purposes. As it turns out the "spy" he was referring to was little more than an informant and Rep. Trey Gowdy stated clearly yesterday that there was nothing improper about the use of the informant and even went on to say that the American people would have wanted this informant in place given the severity of the charges. 6 - And now we have the claim that Mueller and his team will "meddle" in the mid term elections. I find it almost humorous, if the consequences weren't so dire, that Trump threw this one against the wall on the same day that Gowdy said his "spygate" claims were bull shit. Question for @LSUpride123, @Kikicaca and @shane0911.....how many more times are you going to fall for these "stories"? How many times do you have to be lied to before you decide to stop believing the person who is lying to you?
