It's quite likely that the KGB has killed people in Washington and the CIA has killed people in Moscow. In the geopolitics of international espionage it is sometimes the only solution. They have terminated both ours and theirs and we have terminated both ours and theirs. I'm sure that MI6 is probably planning on some countermove for a present day James Bond to see through.
