? Based on? Not everyone keeps growing after HS. I was 5' 11.5" then, and that's where I am now. Not sayin' you're wrong. Just interesting that you seem so sure he'll grow 1-2 more inches.
With their weight trainers and nutritionists he'll easily add another 20 pounds before his sophomore year starts. He'll end up being another Dennis Dixon which will be fun to watch.
I was 5'10/5'11 as a sophomore in high school and I am 5'11 now (still taller than most men). Unfortunately, I never hit 6'0 like my father and many other taller people in my family. Also, it would be interesting if LSU football training has some sort of medieval "rack" that we use to do what we have to do
I should clarify my post. When I said not everyone keeps growing after HS, I was clearly talking vertical growth. I am - uh - enjoying a post high school horizontal growth spurt that has lasted a good 24 years! :hihi: I definitely agree he'll see a lot of additional muscle growth this winter and spring.
I know you don't use the smilies much, John. But that's a scary, psycho kinda comment that is just SCREAMING (pardon the pun) for a  or a or a  or even a .
I'll respond with a :insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane:, :hihi: Actually I was just thinking of the same torture contraption before I hit John's comment..........
I don't expect Shep to grow taller, but he still reminds me of Florida State's Charlie Ward who won the Heisman, led Florida State to a National Championship, and was a kid of great character. NBA.com lists Ward at 6'2, 188. Rivals lists Shep as 6'1, 179, Scout lists Shep as 6'2, 185, ESPN lists Shep as 6'1, 183, and MaxPreps lists Shep as 6'2, 195. Picture of Charlie Ward showing how small he was:
If he's around 6'1", then I'm guessing that's tall enough to see over the line. Not "perfect", but he has other tools, hey what!? If he beefs up to about 210, I bet that's about the perfect mass for a fleet-footed 73" scoring machine. I better stop. I'm getting giddy again... :hihi:
Shep was named: Second Team QB, USA Today's All-USA football team he got beat out at QB by Garrett Gilbert (Texas Longhorn commit) http://www.usatoday.com/sports/preps/football/2008-all-usa.htm?csp=34
