Yep, all he did was acknowledge how he was surprised winning it over Karam.

I think even in the Saban days at LSU, he would have certainly let this true freshman speak to the media.

    Kelvin Shepard's brother, silly goose.

    (Shephard ... "heard" ... do I detect a pun?)

He should help garner loads of attention for LSU from future Texas recruits.

Seems like a great young man...and I'm not just saying that because he wants to be a Tiger.

Talent, smarts and character....Should be a lethal combination for us.

I was thinking the same thing. The guy did an excellent job of presenting himself and the people he represents, which fortunately for us includes LSU.

Don't know how old the episode is, but he was on Snoop Dogg's Father Hood talking to Snoop's son about football. Sounds like a very well spoken young man that I am proud to call a Tiger. :geaux:

I've seen him listed at 6' 1" and 175 or 186. Kinda small... I hope he grows an inch and adds 15 to 20 lbs.

He's still a teenager, he'll add a little more to his frame. But his humility and maturity are leaps and bounds over most athletes i've seen. He's going to emerge as an immediate leader on this next seasons team.
