I wish him the best as he is a tiger and I want all tigers to be great, but I will not hold my breath for it..
Actually, neither of us was wrong...did quick searches and here are Shepard's 3 biggest TD plays. 2009 - 69 yard run vs Auburn 2010 - 50 yard run vs N Carolina and 30 yard run vs Vandy If he gets 1/2 of your 40 catch prediction, I'll be mildly surprised and didn't you say like All-American or was that someone else drinking the RS Kool-Aid?
This! I like everything about RS as a man and Tiger but he hasn't produced. Remember as many have said can't blame poor QB play for his lack of production compared to OBJ et al. I hope for the best because he deserves it.
I certainly hope that RS has a better year while acknowledging that he has not shown the ability to be a front line WR or RB. Clearly, he can be explosive with the ball once he gets it. Hopefully, we won't just try bubble screens with him. I understand they play to his strength but the defenses know this too. And even I might defend a RS bubble screen if I know it is his primary play.
Even if Shep has improved drastically, it will take a lot for him to have a breakout year. From all of the practice reports that I've read, I'm really getting the vibe that Beckham and Landry are about to go apeshit, which will make it difficult for a third WR to stand out. If we have two legitimate threats at wideout and a reliable passer, then the stable of RBs will take the rest of the load.
I have seen this kid make plays with his feet. Even though he has never thrown a pass in a college game He still has played QB in highschool. I just said he hasn't lived up to his hype because he hasnt had a quarterback that could get him the ball. I guess you didn't read that part?
