Well they had Perrilloux in their grips and watched it snatched from them in the 11th hour. And believe me they wanted Shepard so badly as a multi-dimensional threat on offense, just not as QB. But they still coveted him and we took him away as well.

doesnt matter. we are going for the recruiting title and thats all that matters. stats dont factor into the formula. that horrible bias will keep us out of that slot though.

The problem with Conner appeared to be what position we were recruiting him for vs what position he was looking to be recruited for. We wanted to assess his ability to perform at LB, and we weren't comfortable offering him at that point in the process. We offered him soon after, and now he can get on board if he wishes to. That's all that can be said about that situation. Shepard can be used as a Percy Harvin type RB/WR/QB, ala "Slash". When he's on the field, you have to pay attention. Use him as a decoy if necessary in some cases.
