If miles only uses Alley Broussard as a short yardage back then he would not be a very good evaluator of talent. JA and AB should be the #1 guys and go with who has the hot legs or just shove both of them down the defenses throat.

I disagree with some of you guys. I think that AB will be the man. He will be starting. But JA is so valuable in the passing game. Remember the Arkansas game where Randall threw 2 passing TD's to him? I have to admit, I love watching Carey and his sick moves. he makes linebackers look stupid in the open field. I wonder if Robinson and RJ are going to be redshirted? I hope so. One thing about LA is that we've never had any problems recruiting top RB's every year.

Red that is an important point about injuries. We do have a tendency to get banged up, or downright injured for aprt of the season. That is also why I am concerned about MF leaving if Russell gets hurt. If Russell gets hurt, RP goes to the wolves and the season is almost done.

Hopefully S. Carey can show the promise he showed b4 he got hurt against MSU in '03. I really think we would've played a whole lot better at home against Florida in that loss if we had Carey. At the time he definitely had the hot hand.
Against Ga. he kept the ball moving with key first downs to setup that game winning TD to Skyler. It was a shame he got hurt although it paved the way for
    J. Vincent, who turned out to do very well.

They are all great backs and I have enjoyed watching them for the past 2-3 years. If Carey could keep his balance after making those incredible moves and not lean forward so much I think he would remind people of smaller Barry Sanders.
