I think Turtle is a great assistant. I also think there us a reason he wasn't promoted when Skip retired.
This raises an interesting point. Is LSU following the "Bama" theory with hiring. Must hire from inside. I hope not......I'm for always hiring the best available regardless of where they originated. And for those who want to jump me about Bama's last 2 hires being non-Bama guys and not working out. I don't think the "outsider" had anything to do with it....there were peripheral issues that did.......like pending NCAA hammer (Fran) and interest in boos and strip clubs (Price).
