Yes he did. That's what made the Dolphins come calling. They're all about ankle strength, ever since their experience with Marino. Can't divulge my source but back in December, all I can remember hearing was they were high on Nick cause he believed in ankle strength. Take it to the bank. :yelwink2:
gomeangreen.com poster says: "I kinda shurg these LSU injuries off as nothing. We lose a starter, and we are scrambling for a replacement........... LSU loses a starter, and they simply plug in the 5 star recruit that has been waiting for PT."
Football is a dangerous sport. Injuries happen and there is nothing a coach can do about it other than try to minimize unneccesary contact. The tigers have not scrimaged a huge amount it is just one of those things. Thank God for depth and i hope for a quick recovery for any injuries we have. So far we havnt had alot but the few we have are looking to be costly ones.
just think. the more early injuries like this just solidifies our future depth that much more. we're stacked til 2010 at this rate.
Some of the responses to my ?questions? do crack me up. I didn't indict Les Miles or say the sky is falling or anything like that. Someone was clever enough to give me the answer I needed. NS has less contact in preseason than Les Miles, that alone is the answer why this has happened in "preseason". I didn't realize this but I think I would prefer NS's way for what its worth but Les will have to live with the responsibility of full contact in the preseason like any other coach that does and gets these types of injuries. In a way it is the coaches fault, his style vs NS. Anyone who listed Mauck, Toefield and whoever else, maybe one of those guys got injured in preseason but I know that they all didn't. Injuries happen in football, especially in the regular season when a Florida player grabs your foot and tries to point your toes in the opposite direction. Some of you people must have sad, boring lives :hihi:
