I know that many of you on this board were comfortable with Ja’Marr Chase’s decision to opt out based upon loss of potential earning due to an injury. A month ago I begrudgingly agreed. However, now that football in 2020 is a reality, my opinion has changed. As far as I am concerned, Chase was selfish and quit on his teammates. Trevor Lawrence is playing and he has more to lose than Chase. Travis Etiienne has as much to lose as Chase and plays a position with a higher chance of injury.
There is alot of truth to all that but it is his choice, which is kinda what makes this country great.

This season is a glorified spring practice with games. First Lsu football season I might not be fully tuned in . Whatever trophy is won this year will be about as relevant as a set of steak knives from a Citgo gas station .
