He is kind of a loveable liberal. Sort of like your knuckleheaded little brother who can't ever get anything right.

Yeah but you responded to my initial post by saying
It's not just about those conditions, which was what I was saying.

That's a good point, I might only dislike Americans because of proximety. Probably would dislike anyone I was around enough.

Now I'm wondering whether Rachel Dolezal qualifies as a rude ass white person.....or just your basic dishonest one.

"Spokane NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal says she will speak about the furor over racial identity sparked after her parents said she has falsely portrayed herself as black for years, but she is actually white....Dolezal is a 37-year-old artist and activist with dark curly hair and light-brown skin. Her parents in Montana have produced pictures of her as a blonde, blue-eyed child to prove that she is white.

The city of Spokane is investigating whether she lied about her ethnicity when she applied to be on the police board. And police on Friday said they were suspending investigations into racial harassment complaints filed by Dolezal, including one from earlier this year in which she said she received hate mail at her office....The NAACP issued a statement Friday supporting Dolezal, who has been a longtime figure in Spokane's human-rights community and teaches African studies to college students.

"One's racial identity is not a qualifying criteria or disqualifying standard for NAACP leadership," the group said. "In every corner of this country, the NAACP remains committed to securing political, educational and economic justice for all people"

Fine and good that the NAACP accepts all races into leadership positions, but why defend this one when the issue is her long-term fraud, dishonesty, and total bold face lies to everyone inside the organization as well as the public?

She would be considered a dumbass white person. Does she really think she needs to be black in order to fight for the civil rights of others?

Indeed, most people do. The problem is that issues are not always black and white anymore, if they ever were. There are shades of gray here and its hard to find the balance point sometimes. Does a bad joke always rise to racism? Maybe its just a bad joke. Conversely, much inner truth is revealed by a person's humor.

This girl may not be a racist, just joking with a friend and forgetting she's on candid camera (boy, that's a dated reference, ain't it?). She deals with white people all day and a lot of them are rude, what a shock! But public foolishness will get you fired and she learned a lesson. Life's a bitch.

I don't know what she thinks. She tried to pass off her adopted brother as her son and says we are all "descended from Africa". I have to wonder if at any time, any of the black folks she worked with or taught ever got curious.
