1. I read the contract. It says - the buyout was to be changed to $18.75MM.

I saw this in at least 2 different places in the contract.
  2. That's the maximum, at $3.75MM per year remaining. I can't find any source citing an extension past 2012, though. Anybody got one?
  3. You haven't come to grips with that reality yet?
  4. That's because his contract ends in 2014, unfortunately.

    5 years times 3.75 million = 18.75 million (2010 thru 2014)

We're stuck with this moron for a while.
  5. the two year rollover was automatic.

    hence the 4 yrs left.
  6. I read all that too, but what I don't see is where it was rolled over following 2008 and/or 2009.

I read where it was "supposed" to rollover. But I also read somewhere else that the extra year wasn't added.

My intepretation is - 5 years @ $3.75MM starting with the 2008 season.

There should be 2 years left. I think.
  7. $18.75 before the season started, $15 after this season (contract ends after 2014)
  8. That is what I heard some time ago, but wasn't sure whether he had signed it or not. So, I guess he has and yep we got him for 4 more yrs, so he better figure out how to make things work.
  9. The last amendment to his contract was dated April 2008.

Are we sure it runs through 2014?
  10. Since he cannot be fired let him sit on the bench and be quite. Anyone could do a better job at coaching, maybe they could get the baseball coach to come over and coach. The ESPN commentators have been having a bunch of laughs at LSU, they call us the worst team ever with 5 wins and no losses.
