I sent them an e-mail reply if you want to read it. It may be a little long for most.

Everyone knew for the last several weeks that SC would be passed in the BCS provided both SC and LSU continued to win. LSU knocked themselves down by at least 0.4 point deduction by beating Georgia for the second time. If everything that could have gone wrong for LSU the previous week (Alabama, La Tech, Arizona all losing) had not happened, LSU would have passed them then. However, since it happened the last week of the season, you want to cry foul. The system takes the entire year into account. Your entire season did not stand up to the entire seasons of either LSU or OU. Therefore, you are 3rd.

I agree that OU should have been eliminated from contention, but the rules were established before the season began and SC knew them. They must now abide by the rules.

Affect the necessary changes after this year is played out to ensure that teams not represented as the conference champion can not play for the Championship. Ensure that, if there is a consensus 1 vs 2 in both human polls that the computers are not brought into play. They are only used to determine teams when there is no consensus.

The formula with the computers determines who is the best in the land for the entire year, not just who people feel are playing the best at that time. A loss late in the year does not count more against a team than a loss early in the year. When each has the same number of losses, they are treated equally.

SOS comes into play. Sure, SC tried to schedule tough OOC games. However, unfortunately for them, those teams did not turn out to be very good and it hurt their SOS. The fact that the PAC 10 has many more poor teams than good teams also played into that. Big 12 is stronger as is the SEC, which gave both LSU and OU a boost in their SOS.

Remember, just because you think it is so does not mean it is. The National Championship game this year is the Sugar Bowl. Either OU or LSU will receive the trophy and be crowned National Champion. SC may get the AP nomination should they win the Rose Bowl. My wish is that the winners of the Sugar and Rose play for all the marbles. But that won't happen either, unless they get together on a playground somewhere and fight it out with no NCAA sanction. Maybe that's the answer.

I have heard people talk about the two playing in the first game of the year next year. I don't think that really proves anything. Both teams have seniors that are contributing to this year's team. If they play next year, it will not be the same teams and will prove nothing.

Michigan will beat them. We should just smile and nod at them while they bill the Rose as the Nat'l Championship game, then when Michigan wins and LSU wins, send emails to USC people proclaiming Michigan as the Champs!

It's 1:49 and OU STILL sucks!
