Absurd, the Sugar Bowl was a MUCH BIGGER blowout last year, in the end, anyway. USC 32 vs. Michigan 18/ LSU 41-Notre Dame 14.

    Re: Joe McKnight

Let it go. FWIW, one of our former players talked to him too.

Yes, you know I know that already, I was just talking about that on the other thread where you and I are having a conversation.

But did you just hear the announcers? One guy just asked the other guy if he'd give USC the AP National Championship, and he said yes!!!

That's absurd, and I can't see the AP doing it. In 2003 it was #2 LSU vs #3 Oklahoma, #1 USC vs #4 Michigan. This year it is #1 Ohio State vs. #2 LSU and #6 USC vs. #13 Illinois. You'd have to be retarded to say USC deserves any shot at the AP Title, especially since doing so would mean that since the BCS was created, the only two times the AP voted to give the Title to someone other than the BCS game winner, were the only two times that screwed LSU (assuming we win). That would just be cold hearted, and I can't see the AP doing it, not even if #6 USC had hammered #3 Oklahoma or #4 Georgia.

Maybe he can be an everydown back, I'm not sure. I think he will be better than Reggie Bush in the NFL as a running back, but still probably not an everydown back. I do think that he could be a great cornerback in the NFL, if he were to be switched to that position, he played a lot of CB in high school, and he is a natural for that position and that would be his best position by far at the next level.

Actually, I really didn't know you knew that since the specifics weren't discussed, nor do I really know what you do know or not cause I don't read long ass posts and most of yours are.

Not trying to be an ass but it's just the truth, most people won't read long posts with regurgitated crap/stats for paragraph after paragraph and remember here where so & so said this and I said that- shorten up your posts and attack one of two things at a time and I'd think more people would read them.

Hell, I SELDOM open a link or youtube on forums.

You may like it but I don't and it's not even close to the other BCS bowls. Do we hear about it more than the other bowls combined?...sure, but we've discussed the media love fest and reasons before so no need to rehash that.

The Pac-1 is a ONE team conference that occasionally has a couple other decent teams. USC can hang with anybody but has a tendency to lose to some scrub each year.

The Rose Bowl should be removed from the BCS Championship rotation because of their beloved "traditional" matchup that most of the nation doesn't care about.

Notre Dame shouldn't have been in a BCS bowl last year but the rules have been written with a guarantee that they'll play in a BCS bowl if they win a few games.

The Pac-1 has only ONE Top 25 program...USC. Don't even try to say there is another program in that conference that is a legitimate yearly contender.

The Big 10 is a much better balanced and deeper conference but we've had Michigan is the Rose 3 out of 4 years followed by an Illinois team that shouldn't have been there. For me, that's pretty damn boring.

I hoped you enjoyed it. I had more fun watching the Capital One and Outback and now the Sugar.

Don't forget the Gator Bowl...Tech's comeback was excting and Crabtree's TD catch was just insane.
That late fumble reminded me of the LSU-Bama game.

He is the Illinois DB who ran down Joe McKnight like he was standing still. He has to be the second fastest guy in college football. Did anyone else see that?

    Re: Joe McKnight

He WILL be the next Reggie Bush...So that's good news for USC but bad news for the team that makes him a top 5 pick in the NFL Draft.

The guy is an incredible talent. I think he will be better than Bush in the NFL without question. He can be an every down back. He reminds me of a young Darren McFadden.
