    Rose Bowl Capacity

The Rose Bowl capacity was reduced for the 1994 soccer World Cup. A FIFA regulation soccer field is larger than a football field, so some seats near the field were removed to widen the playing surface. It used to be more circular in the corners. Considering how bad field level seats can be, the seats that were removed were not the best anyway.

Can't blame the USC fans for not showing up; the game looked like a sellout to me. Now if Michigan had shown up . . .

No fans suck as much as Miami fans.

I saw a replay of that UCLA-Miami game from 1998, the game that got rescheduled due to a hurricane. UCLA was ranked #2 at the time and Miami knocked them off. The upper decks of the Orange Bowl were almost completely empty.
