One of the biggest Tiger fans I know lives in Phoenix, AZ. We flew down there to see the LSU-Arizona game this year with him and many of his "converted" LSU friends.

Best of all...he flew in from Phoenix, and another friend from Minneapolis, Minnesota to tailgate for the Sugar Bowl...no tickets....they just flew in to tailgate and enjoy the day with other Tiger fans.

Had you ever even heard of football before you came here? I'm sure you had soccer but to come over here and become an LSU fan is great.

That'e the one! Justin and I grew up together back in Louisiana. I was in Tuscon, also, with several other guys from LA, including the one that got on the WTBS "fan rant" at the start of the 3rd quarter on TV.

cajdav - thanks for the WOW.. and great to be in the board.. long time lurker, not many posts though.. mainly I enjoy the game, but dont have any inside info or longtime memories to contribute.

BengalB - Nope, first experience of football was in Tiger Stadium. Worked as a parking gate student worker for a few games. First game was the Florida game in '99 :(. Went to all home games in '00 and '01 seasons. 4-5 games in 02-03. This Christmas when I went home, managed to catch some NFL games very late at night. NBA is big in Indian TV. No College football at all.

Proud to be a tiger and pretty passionate about our team. I was jumping and shouting "National Champions" at Chimes when we won the SECC. Too bad not many people shared my sentiments on that day.
