1. Lots of good places. There's Beale Street (a waterned down version of Bourbob St.) that has several bars. Tons of good resturants in the downtown area (Huey's, Cafe 61, Automatic Slims, Texas DE Brazil). The Flying Saucer on 2nd street is one of my favorite bars.
  2. Yeah the Platinum Plus is a great bar!! I went there right after i turned 21. Probably one of the best "sports" bars ever!!! Drinks are a little on the expensive side, but they have plenty of exciting stuff going on....:hihi:
  3. Maybe watered down as in not as many bars, but its MUCH nicer and cleaner. I love Beale St.....I would choose Beale St. over Bourbon any day!!!!
  4. I've gotta be in Houston (Conroe actually) this weekend. Does that make me a bad fan?

  5. I saw that you had posted on this thread and thought I may get to meet the grand ole' SabanFan. Bummer. I have so many questions about WWI and it's hard to find people that were there nowadays.
  6. No but having a Maya Angelou quote in your sig makes me question your manhood :hihi:  :hihi:
  7. Viet Nam, man. Don't make me older than I am.:hihi: My Dad was in WWII and he's 82.

It's about the quote, not the quotee.
  8. we may try to get in the grove too.

beale is not the only place to party in Mempho. Lots of good places to eat and drink up there. I reccomend the Butcher shop for great steaks, one downtown and one on germantown.

Out around wolfchase mall is hooters and other sports bars, there is also a hooters in southaven.

  9. The estimate of US WWI Vets still alive is 36. France is down to 4.
  10. Jamal Pittman is from the city where I live, and I would certainly feel safe around him. I sure wouldn't wanna make him mad, he is like a mountain. I saw him two weeks ago, and he is bigger than he was when he was in high school.:geauxtige:geauxtige
