Which is NOT the same thing, and is indeed a strawman.

As I have said multiple times now, I support Roe v. Wade, which allows states to prohibit third trimester abortions. That DOESN'T MEAN I WANT states to prohibit late term abortions.

I know this will blow a simpleton's mind, but what I support politically is not necessarily what I'd institute if I could have my own way. And I've already explained why I support Roe v. Wade, that angers the fewest number of people and is thus the best compromise to an insoluble problem. Which part couldn't you comprehend?

 

you want states allowed to force women to bear children they dont want. you dont give a shit what women want. you literally just said you want states to control women:

why should women not be allowed to control their own bodies? why should white men like you tell then they have to bear children. thats some serious handmaid's tale shit right there.
