Best of luck to UM and your new coach - with a little luck, we can both claim a wins over Ohio in 2008!!!!!!!!!

Ladies & Gentlemen, we now have finally found our long term successor to Charlie McClendon. It only took about 26 years to find a man with the character and commitment to LSU rarely found in a coach. We no longer(at least for the next 4 or 5 years  ) have to worry about our coach leaving.:thumb: :miles:

no no fishhead, you missed my point. I was merely pointing out my lack of faith in ESPN's reporting lately. They have incorrectly predicted/announced numerous coaching changes over the last 3 weeks.

Now that we have collaborating sources, I'll believe it, but not because it came from ESPN.

I am over it ... been over it ..... I want us to keep our coach. He's done a great job!!

ESPN reporting that this is just a diversion and Miles will be introduced as the next Mich coach after the NC game:thumb:

Hmmm, I wonder if Jimmy Sexton has contacted WVU officials on behalf of a West Virginia native & former LSU coach.

Rodriguez leaving West Virginia to coach Michigan

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3157227

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan has hired West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez as its next football coach following a search that featured two other top prospects deciding to stay put.

Suppose Michigan wants to hire Miles as Coach Rod's Offensive Coordinator?

    Would Miles bolt for Michigan?

What if they put it in Miles's contract that MILES is guaranteed the HC job at Michigan when Rod retires (you know . . . the same deal that Jimbo got at FSU).

Am I the only one worried about the answer to these questions?

Yes, but some of us are getting a little worried about how slow things must be down in Barataria Bay for you to be concerned in the least about such matters. Have the British been around lately???
