    Showing the 70's some love
    Bad Company - Shooting Star

Some say this song is about Rock N' Roll itself. "Johnny" (Rock N' Roll) was a school boy when it heard it's first beatles song. Was a shooting Star in the 70's when the song was written, having reached it's full potential and is opn the decline. "If you listen to the wind you can still hear him play." means the remnants of Rock N Roll are still there.

Hey Hatch, I've been trying to find one of "Julia" by the Beatles, but not having any luck. You wouldn't happen to have a source on this would ya.

"Hide Your Love Away" is one of the songs that truly signaled that the Beatles were transitioning from The Fab Four to serious song writers. It is a great song. Yesterday, is a complete Paul McCartney song. Although there is evidence that George Harrison was present in the studio with Paul when he originally brought the song in studio, no other Beatle had a hand in the released version of the song. Sorry, can't find Julia.
