I didn't even know he had a new album out. The chick that snag with him in mid '90's ish had some powerful vocals. She probably could have stole the show if she tried.

Oh yeah its a great album!

That was proably his daughter. What sucks is she seems like she is trying to distance herself away from that rock sound and go in a more country/blues route but I would be great to see her follow in Meats footsteps.

She doesnt have anything on YouTube but you can check out clips of her here: http://www.mother-pearl.com/contents.html

Nah, the girl that sang most of the duets back then wasn't his daughter, she was an older lady, brunette. But man did she have a voice. His daughter did sing a small part by herself though and was quite impressive.
Also, the fellow that played the piano for "Heaven cam Wait" did a phenomenal job that night, even went into an amazing solo at one part. Did the same thing for "Bat out of Hell", and got the crowd roaring.

OH ok I know who you are talking about now. Yeah she does have a voice. I know the Steinman played piano for his concerts when they were not at odds might have been him.

May have been him, it was the tour to promote the "Bat outta Hell II" album. If I remember right, that was when they became buddies again.

Damn...all of these imbedded vids is slowing down my browser.

I saw SRV at JazzFest in the early 80's. That dude was awesome.

If you want to see a cool blues documentary check out "You See Me Laughing". In fact it is on IFC right now
