I pretend to be something I'm not. But only in situations when I'm holding candy and surrounded by young girls.

AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!!!

Yes, Summer Donna, Sourdough. It was a joke, buddy.

But to answer your question, yes, I have supported a Republican. In fact, I've supported more Republicans than Democrats in my lifetime. Would you like to guess how many times I've voted Democrat? Zero! That's right, zilch. Are you surprised? I was a Republican up until about 2 years ago, once I stopped being naive enough to realize how much the fundamental principles of the party had been abandoned. There are many, many others in the same position.

Anyhow, Roberts seems Ok. My only problem is with him being made Chief Justice right off the bat. I don't know much about how all that stuff works, but I assume it's not too different from anything else, where tenure and seniority are typically the inside track to superior positions.

    Wow,
This is freaking me out!!!!!
We think more alike than I ever could imagine! :)
I totally agree with your post, no, for real! no fooling

The only other thing I will say is that I believe the Democrats have
    also abandoned their fundamental principles.
Ronald Reagan didn't leave the party, the party left him for example.
I like Joe Lieberman for example, he seems a little more tolerable than
    the others.
I won't leave the Republican party though, because of certain issues,
pro-life, etc, I have no where else to geaux! :dis:
I also believe nothing gets done in DC because of the bickering and
attacking back and forth not to mention priorities are all mixed up.

For example: Child abductions and murders happen quite often now
and all Congress can do is debate on issues like steroids in sports.
This is just an example, there are many more.

    I'm happy now :)

See, that's the great thing about it. There is no rigid set of guidelines or beliefs to which you must adhere.
