No excuses, friend. These things get said in the world of football whether they meet your approval or not. And just like it can bite you in the arse, it can also win a game for you. Personally, it's not how I would approach this game, but I'm not RJF. EDIT: For what it's worth, here's a quote from Tyson jackson... Now we can all be happy.. all is at balance in the world.
it doesnt matter one bit. all that matters is how he plays. if rjf rips tebows knee up or gives him a concussion with a hit to the head, then its really bad. if rjf cant get to tebow, its bad. if rjf hits tebow many times (legally), its good.
lol at those trying to spin it. If a Florida player said that all hell would break loose here as it would become immediately apparent that Urban has no class (ok this one may not need mythbusters), all of their players are thugs, and without a doubt their coaches teach cheap shots like that.
Apparently ESPN is trying to make it a big fuss....you can vote on whether you think it is a big deal or not on the college football homepage. http://sports-ak.espn.go.com/ncf/index
Of course, I would be angry too. UF fans have a right to be angry with RJF right now. As far as UF coaches teaching cheap shots, that's a mighty strong claim without evidence/link.... Auburn, sure. UF, I dunno.
We would be all over this quote calling them Thugs, Scumbags, Classless, etc. Sometimes you need to step off the purple and gold and call it like it is.
