Maybe the Texans will pass up a great running back to draft Dorsey as their #1 pick. That would be a great move for their defense, take 2 defensive lineman with your first pick 2 years in a row.I'm being facetious of course.

Bowe isn't a speedster like WR's we've had in the past. He has really improved this year with his hands. He is definitely a possession WR that will hang to the ball and can make difficult catches, excellent blocker, and I think he is pretty good after the catch. He would accent a team very well and it really wouldn't be noticed. There were times that a RB screen play or a hand-off broke big yards, but you look at the replay and it broke because of Bowe laying awesome blocks on DB and Safeties. He is a lot like Clayton but I think Clayton is faster right? They both are great blockers though. Bowe will have success in the NFL, just not Stephen Davis, Chad Johnson type success because of the speed. Every other facet of his game is great though.

No YAC? Did you watch the Fresno St game with his touchdown he took an extra 30 yards or so? How about the Tennesee or Arkansas games when he would get 15 + yards off 5 yard slants every time...

I think Craig Davis is going to make a better pro receiver than Bowe.

2 different types of WRs... Davis will be a very consistent guy that helps move the chains downfield and will stretch defenses - teams need this type of WR, but he probably won't get that much attention. Bowe, on the other hand, will be a guy that gets a lot of touchdowns, his routes will typically be shorter than Buster's and he will be a big 3rd down guy, which means he will get a lot more attention. Plus, Bowe's downfield blocking is going to be a real asset to a lot of teams.

You and I don't watch the same games. Every time the guy catches the ball, he gets YAC. On a different thread concerning Russell, I attributed it partly to the ball being thrown where he COULD get YAC, but nonetheless, a lot of it is Bowe. Even if he's tackled immediately, he gets "tackled forward" because of his size. You need to watch Bonstocker's video on You Tube. I know it's a compilation of highlights, but an awful lot of them prove Bowe gets beau coup YAC. I was at the Fresno game mentioned above, and that play speaks for itself, but it is not the only play that does the talking. :geauxtige LSU!

Bowe doesnt have exceptional speed like some WRs but he has more than adequate speed. He can get past the DB at times, but his ability after the catch is what is his strength. Bowe has ideal size, he can block the defender from making a play, using his body as a shield. Which makes Bowe great in the red zone. As mentioned Bowe is as good a blocker as there is at WR. Bowe could be similar to Colston, Burress, and Bolden.
