And finally, an alternative appears on the horizon: Scientists have developed a way to turn pee into electricity. And there's plenty where that came from, they point out. Cheap, disposable, and renewable, urine-powered batteries may be the perfect power source for disposable healthcare test kits called biochips, the researchers say. "We are striving to develop cheap, disposable credit card-sized biochips for disease detection," said battery developer Ki Bang Lee. "Our battery can be easily integrated into such devices, supplying electricity upon contact with biofluids such as urine."
Imagine the cash that can be made at Tiger Stadium...if only they could figure out a way to collect it. Maybe a drain under the floor would work?
I don't want to split hairs here, but just to be clear: Sports pioneered the whole pee on the wall concept, while Murphy's tried TWO concepts: sink as urinal AND pee in the pit where the commode once was. :hihi::rofl: Thanks for bring back the memories, Podnuh!!:thumb:
Just providing a little community service to our TF members. Thanks for clarifying my memory. Must have been a bit foggy. Not sure why...
