Watching this now, as usual. I love this show. Lots has changed since last pot here 6 years ago. Sig's daughter is pretty nice looking. Be hard to marry a pilot that operates a crab boat in the Bering Sea but definitely worth a poke...or two.

I always have liked Sig. Dude will grind and do whatever it takes to make quota and deliver on time.

He makes the new guys bite the head off a herring. I don't think I could do that.

That would be the easiest part of that job.

True but I wouldn't vomit doing the dangerous stuff. What was that show a few years ago where contestants had to do dangerous things and eat disgusting things like bugs or pig innards. I couldn't watch the eating part without gagging

    Fear Factor

Eating gross stuff is not hard. Just block it out of your mind.

I haven't watched this show in forever, but just stumbled upon it in my insomnia tonight. So I guess Capt. Phil's son Josh has taken over the Cornelia Marie since he passed, but he's got a 'co-captain' aboard. I've never really seen that. I'm not sure if Josh needs someone to hold his hand or what the deal with that situation is.

Side note: Can someone please explain to me how these dudes can do what they do in sub-zero temperatures, soaking ass wet, and not get hypothermia? Seriously, on the episode I'm watching, it's -25 degrees with the wind chill factor, it's snowing, the wind is howling, and there's 20ft seas regularly crashing over the bow and these dudes don't even seem to be phased at all. Even if they weren't wet, it's dangerous just to be outside in -25 degree weather, so being wet multiples that infinitely. How is that possible?

Ok, so in my mind, it was more interesting at 2am then it is now, but I'm still curious about it.
