    The show was getting a little old last season. Interest in Phils death kept ratings up and they really played that up.

    The skippers probably knew that the end of the show was near.

    I liked the after the catch show with all the captains drinking and telling stories.

    Oh no!!! Well, like someone else here said, those were my 3 favorite boats on the show. Granted, I'll still have a look at next season (if they still do it) to see if it interests me enough to hang on, but I doubt it. Phil was my favorite of them all (R.I.P. Capt. Phil!!). I liked the Time Bandit but could have done without them... but not the Northwestern also. This sucks :(

    i read today that Discovery is trying to come up with some deal to get those 3 captains back on the show.

    Sig is a dick. The only interesting thing about the Northwestern was Edgar and he quit the boat.

    Don't know if he officially quit but he did say multiple times last season that he wasn't coming back.

    yeah i remember him having a hard time. After Red's post i went hunting to see if there were any rumor posts and i found his facebook. He supposedly posted this the other day
