What a wonderful woman !! I cringed when the news mentioned her name in the same newscast as Stormy Daniels. What a contrast in dignity !!
What I loved about her was her strong willed dedication to her husband and kids. She reminds me of my own mother who had 8 kids in 10 years...and took no prisoners when we cut up. I also liked her naturalness as she aged. No facelifts or liposuction...very real.

Roger Stone called her a nasty drunk and a mean and cruel woman, and said if they cremated her that her body would burn for 3 days because of the alcohol. When asked if he was being insensitive he said, oh she has said far worse about me.
She was an old school wife. She probably controlled a lot from the background but her public persona was that of the dutiful quiet wife. I never had an issue with Barbara or her grandchildren. It’s her husband and her sons I took issue with but at the same time I’m not sure there is a more likeable person than George W. I bet his popularity is 1000x that of what it was when he resided at 1600.
She was one of th she was a great lady - one of the greatest generation. It's going to get crazy on Sat. I am flying back from Nashville and am hoping to get back to CS before the funeral procession. They expect the streets to be lines with people as she passes by headed to the Bush library
