Well, this is a thread more devoted to hot bodies than actual volleyball. I can talk April Ross all day. Prior to their loss last night, I honestly didn't understand the strategy of their competitors. April was getting the lion's share of the serves. Stupid. I would have served Walsh-Jennings. The Brazilians did that last night and it worked. I didn't see them in the Gold Medal match. Brazil and Germany were the faves in my book, but I had the other Brazilians penciled in (the ones who lost tonight). Small factoid.....beach volleyball today is really the result of nudists who brought the indoor game outdoors. Nudist colonies in America spread the sport, and probably a lot more, and it's one of the most entertaining sports today IMO.
Carrie had a much better game last night but Ross is a fucking gamer. I hope she gets a good partner for Tokyo. I agree though, beach volleyball is easily the most entertaining sport at the Olympics. And hell, it's actually more entertaining than baseball and basketball in my opinion. On the thread thing, there really wasn't another one devoted to the actual Olympics so I figured I'd use this one. At least it's kind of related.
