    I agree...

Richt grew up in South Florida and still has family and friends in the area.

His wife was originally from Tallahassee, but her family moved to the Helen, Georgia area, so they are only about an hour outside of Athens. Richt likes Athens and the church he attends and has commented about the positive environment for his family.

For him personally, I think it would be tougher for him to turn down an offer from Miami than it would be from FSU.

And with a few minor changes, that'll make a fine resignation speech...

Nothing is forever...as much as I would like Coach Saban to retire from LSU with a bevy of Nat'l Championships, the reality is he'll probably resign to move to the NFL one day...just hopefully not before my son (now 2) can play for him at LSU!!! :D

Just watching a replay of the runback, the block in question is 5 yards away from Devery, with Devery going left and the other guy going right. There would have been no way that guy would have made the tackle.

If Richt keeps on winning the way he has he will be in big demand. Ya'll are going to have to start worrying about somebody hiring him away the way we worry about an NFL team hiring Saban.

I am hoping Richt takes the Bowden approach and stays in the college rankes.

I'm hoping that about Saban, too. I want him to retire from LSU one day and have the field renamed in his honor for his multiple national championships...:D

    The officiating was not good.

Three bad calls against LSU kept us bottled up in the first half and kept us from annihilating the Gorgia Bullbawls.

    1) Michael Clayton was called for holding.

    2) Excessive celebration call against LSU that was pure BS.

    3) Somebody already mentioned this one: Clayton is pushed out of bounds while running a route while the ball is clearly in the air!

I didn't notice Gorgia getting away with holding our D Line, but I'm not surprised.

    The officiating was below average.

Umm...Please tell me you actually think that your offensive line was NOT holding on 85% of the plays from scrimmage no Saturday?

Sheesh...Those guys were grabbing LSU jersey's so much, it was more like a question of when was the off chance they WEREN'T holding on Saturday...

Don't tell me you didn't see it, because I watched the replay, and I'm going to watch it again tonight on Cox Sports Channel 37 here in BR...They were holding on at least 8 out of 10 plays.

Please, PLEASE try to tell me the same of LSU...I need a good laugh.

BTW-If you see a replay of the game, watch for the 2nd half play in which we pull Whitworth from Left Tackle all the way around the right side of the line and the tight end...He literally knocks Pollack off of his feet and onto his ass...A true All-American play.

BTW-Was it that Pollack is that much of a non-factor without NFL talent to take double teams and schemes off of him, or is it that Andrew Whitworth is that much of a TOTAL FORCE on the left side of LSU's offensive line...
