i wouldnt characterize talking about it in free speech alley as "pushing my beliefs". favoring putting "one nation under god" in the pledge of allegiance, thats pushing your beliefs on others. jesus is a warlock and a wizard. he casts spells and does magic and whatnot, i dunno who you think jesus is, if not a wizard, the most powerful wizard ever, except for his dad god, unless of course you are into the holy trinity and think jesus and his dad are the same thing kinda. of course there are. but religion is one more reason for bad people to use to justify doing bad things. it seems unlikely to me that terrorists would do as much killing without allah, and the idea (that you help spread) of the afterlife.
Its an excuse. No one accepts responsibility now days for their actions, very few people anyway. We have a thousand excuses and reasons why we do what we do but that doesn't mean we actually believe its the truth in some cases. It also doesn't mean religion is bad because someone blows up buildings or drown their children. All that means is that people are bad. Yep, I believe in the after life but that doesn't mean I believe in Al Quada's after life. I guess you could lump us all together but then that takes away from your credibility. Religion does and has done a lot of good in the world also. Then again I would agree that religion does have some faults. It is a system in a not so perfect world, just like governments.
