LSU has always produced good talent from another position.

    For example:

    Kevin Faulk --high school QB
    Shyrone Carey --converted WR
    Jack Hunt --WR to Safety

    Also Marcus Spears, converted TE.

    Converting players to other positions

What about Cory Webster from WR to CB?

i always wondered what kind of TE Spears would have made. i understand the serious need for him on the DL, but....i bet the guy would have been a great TE.

I always wondered what kind of TE Shaq could have made. Could you imagine a 7foot tall 300 pound tight end!

He would be unstoppable! He could be even better as a wide out who always lined up far to the outside. You couldn't leave him alone with a 6' CB and if you put a safety over the top of him it would leave someone else with single coverage and no safety help. The possibilities would be endless.

True, Michael Clayton in my point of view is under a lot of pressure........because he is expected to be one of the best WR's in college football.......and at the same time be able to play some Safety......

Chris Gamble doesn't seem to mind the pressure....

I wonder what kind of defensive end he would have been? Can you imagine trying to block him?
