1. Most great RBs are not physically great looking.

Emmit Smith and Barry Sanders come to mind, solid but not exactly picture worthy either. Heck, Barry always kind of looked like a cabbie or something to me.
  2. The battle between Jeremy Hill and Kenny Hilliard cut short - ESPN
  3. La'El Collins shows why he's one of nation's best - ESPN
  4. wish i had seen this on tv. did not know it was on tv. i grew up in that area and it would have been a great experience to see it on tv. maybe next time
  5. Should Alabama fans be worried about Hasean Clinton-Dix taking other visits? - ESPN
  6. It's been done before (by me, even), but I cannot help myself....

    LSU's Offensive Menu next year...

RB: Ridley, Ware, Blue, Ford, Hill, Hilliard

WR: Randle, Shepard, Toliver, C., Gore, Wright, Boone, Lewis, Fobbs, Landry, Magee

TE: Peterson, D; Joseph; Clement; Dickson

OL: Faulk, Hurst, Blackwell, Dworaczyk, Lonergan, Hebert, Williford, Shaw, Branch - plus....Collins, maybe Robinson, Turner....White...

    QB - Jefferson, Lee, .............Mettenberger??

Sorry to hijack this thread - don't want to start a new thread on this since it's early in the 2010 season. But man am I excited about next year's offense. As long as LSU's QB can pull a Flynn/Mauck kind of season...they'll be firmly in the hunt.
  7. Round Two

Patterson at Redemptorist this Friday night in the 3A quarterfinals

Hilliard vs Hill....LSU's star tailback commitments go head-to-head for the second time this season.

Hill won round one, but with somewhat of an asterick, midway through the game, Hilliard suffered an ankle injury that nagged at him all season. With better than 400 yards and 7 TDs in the first two playoff games, Hilliard seems to have put the injury behind him.

Round one was on a neutral field. Hill gets homefield advantage in round two, but Patterson fans usually travel well, and may even break out the "Who Dat?" chant that they (not Cincinnati Bengal or even Saints fans) used for Uncle Dalton and company in the late 70s.

No national TV on this one, but much more at stake. LSU fans......enjoy!
  8. Good luck - RHS is tough at The Rock!

GO WOLVES!!! - onward to the 3A state championship!!!!
  9. Patterson leads 14-13 at the half. Hill has both RHS TDs, one run, one reception, coupleof nice 10-15 yard runs but isn't putting up big numbers. Patterson's throwing the ball all over the field, not really using Hilliard much. He's had a couple of decent runs as well. Saving him for the second half, maybe?
  10. Patterson still holds the lead by 2 in the 4th with about 7 mins to go. Hilliard had a great run just now and are going to pound the clock.

    Great game.

I love slingbox, I am in SC watching since Arizona sucks.
