    For the record.

    Value and debt go hand-in-hand.

If you dont understand that most basic concept you wont even be able to have an arguement with me.

The reason we can even have this debt on the books is because of the value of our economy. As reflected by the dollar, stock market, GDP etc.

Increasing our value lessens the burden value of said national debt.

    Frog was right.

The title is a lie. He didnt say that and you cant quote it.

Trump: stocks went up, so I reduced the national debt. Economists: facepalm

    From your link:

It was an “obviously an imprecise statement,” Avery Shenfeld, chief economist at CIBC Capital Markets told Global News via email. But Trump did qualify it by saying “in one sense.”

Well Rex, you're right about Trump in so many ways. BTW don't bother calling me a Trump supporter because I never was and never will be. He called him unfit when he announced through the election and if you bother to read my posts about him or can comprehend that there are people who are conservative and don't accept Trump you'd know that. I also reject the false equivalence that not voting for HRC was a vote for Trump or that her unraveling since the election isn't as worrisome. She would have bee However being the troll you are you either can't or won't.
Trump's devolvution over the last several months is very troubling. His argument comparing the debt and stock market is ludicrous. His comments on free speech is not only ignorant but frightening. His rambling about trade, immigration and other things is either deliberate baiting or the height of ignorance. His lack of attention to the duty of the presidency is criminal.
Fortunately there are a few republicans who are beginning to break away from Trump's orbit. I hope that will be the start of an awakening that leads to his end.
No I don't hate Trump I hate what he is doing to the country
Unfortunately the democrats are no better and perhaps even worse. We are in a bad way. I don't know how we pull out of this and recover the ideals and strength of our fathers. I know this is rambling but such is where Trump has driven us
