Don't forget that this year's seniors were all freshman in 2003 and were part of that team. Granted only JV, Laron, and Alley contributed they still experienced it. THis year is a great time for them to make some new memories since all the 03 Tigers will be gone except alley.

When the DBs are mugging our guys & it doesn't get called, it is difficult to execute a play.

I keep forgetting we play in the SEC. It's really a crap shoot who will win the SEC between the likes of LSU, Florida, Auburn with Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina and Arkansas all capable of having big years. Any other conference have this kind of road to a conference championship? Didn't think so. I'm okay with us not winning the BCS the past two years. All we would hear was it was with Saban's guys. The only thing Bama has been talking about since the NFL draft is LSU's 4 1st round drafted players were recruited by Satan which they think guarantees them to be a champion soon with Satan. Kinda different recruiting for LSU versus recruiting at Bama.

Auburn was a good tough competitive contest. I thought we ran too much early in the game, left Scott on the bench to our detriment since JV and AB were too slow that day. When we started throwing late, we were effective. The last pass by JaMarcus was a good play IMO, given it was the last shot. He could see the DB in the end zone, and hitting the receiver early while he was open and seeing if he could juke the defender and get to the end zone was the best chance on that play, IMO. We weren't balanced enough earlier, and that's why we were in that position on the last series. I don't think we lost the game on the last series, it was actually my favorite series in the game. Talk to the coaches on that game.

At Fla., I think our biorhythms were off that day, pretty much the whole team made mistakes, but JaMarcus bears a lot of the load for turnovers. I don't think its a lot more complicated for me, we just had an off day, it happens, and it cost us a possible national championship. That's college football, these kids are not pros.

JaMarcus seemed to realize that if we were going to win big games, he had to be on, and take care of the football. He learned his lesson well, and he lived up to his responsibilities the rest of the year, and the team finished #3, and I loved it!

Well I don't know what to say excapt that it's part of the game, we would be ignorant to say that the home team in an SEC battle doesn't get the advantage in calls. It shoudln't happen, but thats the way it usually ends up. I remember Corey Webster mugging a Bama DB in 04 and that played a part in the outcome. Anyways the Auburn call was earlier in the 4th or in the 3rd quarter, it always comes down to who makes plays at the end of the game. And we were so close.

Auburn cheated and Florida played harder.

    That's pretty much it.

In the Auburn game JR got sacked and the clock kept running. He throws it away and we might have a chance. In the Florida game the turning point was JR's fumble at the goalline. Neither was pretty but they are facts. I don't like them but that is what happened IMO.:geauxtige :usaflagwa  LSU! :usaflagwa :geauxtige

It was the entire game. You keep acting like it was one play. There were bad calls throughout, and it was not just a slight home field advantage thing, it was an outright terribly called game.

Even considering that, we could've & should've won.
