Restrauteur Impastato gets 1,000 Sugar Bowl tickets...

Listen ... Impastato has been tied to the Dixie Mafia ... forever ... at least since I was a kid ... when I watched Carlos Marcello, aka "uncle carlos" hand over Schwegmann's bags full of $100's to my grandpa ... headed over to Camille Gravelle's office. If you're naive about WHO RUNS THE NOLA SPORTING LIFE ... get over it. The guy makes legitimate COIN (hey, they sold 'em the tickets) every year ... and it's a done deal now ... and he paid full price ... fuggitaboutit. Next year, they'll watch the tickets like a hawk and cut him out ... life goes on. Impastato's is still a great restaurant and if you BOYCOTT it, so what ... who cares, it's a cover anyway for Booking and other games ... but if you need a Sugar Bowl ticket ... go have lunch there and ask your waiter to talk to someone and get you a phone # for one of the packages.
