Ask Al Gore or anyone against the "big tobacco" killers, if it's so dangerous to anyone who sees someone smoke, why not just outlaw it all together? WHY NOT JUST OUTLAW SMOKING? Tell us Redness? Why not just outlaw it?

this entire thread saddens me for our own liberties which this day ironically represents. Some of you need a refresh in what this country was founded on.

No one is forcing you to go into a building where smoking is allowed. How many times must this be repeated?

There is great freedom in the world of NLMD and martin. Most of the rest only lead to totalinarianism. Even if Chaos does mistakenly claim to be a Libertarian.

chaos doesnt even understand the simple concept of the greenhouse effect so this is not really surprising. although he means well so thats a plus.

many people who think they are educated on a given subject are often misinformed.

martian understands he is much more likely to be insignificant than actually matter.

Chaos is like a wife. He'll keep arguing until you storm out of the house to cool off. When you get back, he'll still be arguing.

That's my point. It's silly to pass all these anti-smoking laws when tobacco is a legal product. If smoking is truly a national heath crisis, then grow a pair of balls and make the case to outlaw tobacco. But we know why politcians don't want to go there.

Some in this country think they know what's best for all of us and want to legislate everything to protect us from ourselves. From seatbelts to telling bars they can't serve drink specials at certain times, it's getting out of control.

Too bad that can't tackle the real issues...
