This might not be popular, but I think I'd prefer an impressive Sugar Bowl victory to an embarassing Rose Bowl loss...of course you can't win unless you play the game - either way, I think we'd still need a Miami slip up to get the 3-slot.
Miami will go down in their new championship game. No way they win. I think we could jump them, either way, after a solid win over GA. I still think it will be GA we play.
i didnt start the thread dont care about what "some guy" thinks, but until preseason human polls no longer influence which teams play for the NC, national respect is very important.
You are correct. If we come out ranked #3 next year, it will almost certianly take a loss by 1 or 2 to get us in the championship game. Thats how it will always be untill there is a playoff. Nat respect was the reason Mich was ranked so high preseason. Nat respect is why Penn St and ND have climbed so high so fast.
LSU has always been dis-respected through past history thats what makes LSU so hungry for wins! Thats what gets the fans so fired up!! Am I right or am I right?
hell, they have 2 more wins than LSU and none of them are against teams as bad as AppSt, MSU or UNT. im not saying Penn St IS better, but their portfolio is better.
