Six people gunned down in Nashville... protests break out at the state capitol, mostly students demanding that the Legislature protect them from gun violence. Three House members, two black men and one white woman, join in the protest. The Republican-dominated Legislature, pretending that their rules have never been previously broken, this evening voted to expel the two black men on a rules technicality, and let the white woman slide for the same "offense", even though none of the three deserved expulsion. This is the Party that excused away trump's inciting an insurrection at the US Capitol on January 6. This is the Party that will deny they're all about white supremacy.
And then they wonder why Black people vote 98% Democratic. And then they wonder why they keep losing young voters.
