Olbermman is doing back flips over Reids win. He just called the overall results tonight "mixed". BWAHAHAHA! MSNBC is dedicating all their air time to Reid winning and Olbermann just said it has "a huge impact on this election". Olbermman needs to just retire. A complete waste of air time. What a joke. MSNBC should be embarrassed about this coverage.

That jackass idiot on HBO will surely have some dumbass comments on his next show. He's another whiny liberal who would rather see the country destroyed than have conservatives or moderates in office.

Hell yeah. Only difference is I expected it. At one point 51 of the 56 gains at that time (more came later) were districts where the incumbant voted for nobama care. Impressive, I guess now we know for sure that American people didn't and don't want this pile of crap. Yet we all know who will be here posting some dumb pie chart from the NYT that says the opposite. I wonder if it pisses him off that Red is the republicans color?:D

Well if he's what he claims to be he should be happy and welcome these results. The problem for him is we know he's not what he claims to be.

His poor little bleeding heart is in pain tonight. Get ready to be flooded with insignificant internet material. :D

I didn't see Boehner's speech. I watched long enough to know that the bitch Pelosi is out of power.

If Obama admits that this election was a referendum against him, there's a chance something can get done. If he stays his course. we'll do this again in 2 years.

i disagree, i think this more of what you just said, a fire pelosi agenda by the voters. All the polls i saw last night, i think about 25% of people were blaming Obama.

And i don't know about you, but all the voting stations i drove by last night, and the 1 i went to, was filled with nothing but old and middle aged white people.

Please tell me a candidate the GOP has that could challenge Obama. Sarah Palin? I hope she runs, she would be slaughtered.

I don't know this may be a good thing. maybe it will kill the gridlock in washington.

    *You lose the House...
    *You lose your former seat...
*You lose the "big" states which set the tone for the 2012 election...
*You lose the states you visited most often...
*You lose the states you visited most recently...
*You lose many governors who will help shape the next voting districts...
*You lose your biggest liberal supporter (Pelosi)...
*You lose your excuse (Bush) as exit polling indicates HC Reform is the problem...
*You lose many of the people who supported you 100%...

This election may have had many storylines and issues but make no mistake...this was about a message to Obama that America does not want a far-left liberal agenda.

Just like Clinton, Obama ran on a somewhat moderate platform and immediately governed from the far left once in office. Just like Clinton, Obama got spanked as a result. Will Obama now be like Clinton and move to the middle or will his ego now allow it? Will he continue to blame Bush, Fox News, the Party of "No", racism, etc.?

BTW...The Democrat candidate for governor in Florida just conceded.

    Hey Obama...NO YOU CAN'T!

great, now corporate america and multi-millionaires will get tax breaks not paid by spending cuts but by my children.

tea baggers just got played. boehner, mcconnell, lott, rove are going to eat them alive. the gop will not cut meaningful spending. they will play-up cuts to "discretionary non-military spending"----bfd, pissing in the wind.
