What does LSU AD hire, Scott Woodward, mean for Tigers ... and Texas A&M? http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/26551758/what-does-lsu-ad-hire-mean-tigers-texas-am
I'm fired up about a new maestro running the athletic department, too, a home grown guy w/LSU ties who can genuinely be the face of LSU athletics. But, the least of his concerns currently is a coach who recruited in top 5, and finished the season #6 overall. He needs to clean up the basketball fiasco first that is still there. CWW has the potential to bring down the whole kit and caboodle, yet everyone here wants to keep him and get rid of Oeaux. Illogical.
Would be a PR nightmare for a new ad to rid itself of the most popular coach on campus. Half the reason for this ouster was to salvage wade. That's why alleva is gone. You can book woody and wiretap wade have been long conversing
A bit of a stretch i would think and as has been posted "not if he wins". The question is how much does he have to win? Good ol @LSUDad warned us about firing a winning coach. With big nose Joe out of the picture things might be different but in my humble and worth nothing opinion I'd say we tread lightly. If recruiting stays on the upward trend (HAS to beef up the lines) it will be tougher to get rid of him than you think.
